WIN A DEFIBRILLATOR!
SOUTH WESTERN AMBULANCE SERVICE NHS TRUST AND ROTARY CLUBS THROUGHOUT GLOUCESTERSHIRE ARE CELEBRATING THE DONATION OF THE 50TH HEART DEFIBRILLATOR AT AN EVENT HELD AT HATHERLEY MANOR HOTEL ON 26TH FEBRUARY, 2019.
Working directly with the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity, this Defibrillator will be donated to a local Rugby Club under the ‘Rotary Saving Lives Project’.
Having defibrillators located at local rugby clubs has the potential of saving lives when somebody suffers a premature cardiac arrest. Many rugby clubs across the UK already possess defibrillators.
Helen Chu from Gloucester Rugby Community Charity says
“It’s great to be involved in an initiative that can actually save lives. It is of upmost importance to us that our community is safe and thanks to the kind donation from the Rotary’s Saving Lives project this defibrillator can help prevent unexpected tragedies.”
We would like to give your club the opportunity of having the 50th Defibrillator donated to your club by submitting an entry application.
You can do this by simply emailing email@example.com specifying:
• The club you are nominating
• Contact details
• A short paragraph describing why you feel your club would like to win this donation.
Closing date for applications will be February 10 2019. Only one application per club will be accepted.
All entries will be placed into a draw where Gloucester Rugby Community Charity will pick the winning Rugby Club on February 26 2019 at the Hatherley Manor event.
Gloucester Rugby Community Charity will arrange for presenting the award to the club, together with defibrillator training for the lucky recipients, under the “Rotary Saving Lives Project.”
At this event we will raise funds for yet another Defibrillator in the future.
