More Players - Playing More Often

Playing Out Of Age Group (POoAG)

GRFU are always approaching this issue in a holistic way but with PLAYER WELFARE as the overriding factor.

In view of the Age Grade Regulations, GRFU has decided to adopt the RFU POoAG form (See Below), but GRFU also requires some additional information, as detailed in the relevant guidelines (See Below). This should be included in the accompanying email when you send in the forms please.  Applications without this will be rejected until the information is provided.

You will see there will now be a dedicated email address to the Panel rather than through County Office.

We hope you will find the new process beneficial.  I would stress that we will endeavour to give you an answer within 5 working days but this cannot be guaranteed.

Many thanks in anticipation of your co-operation while this new process beds in.

POoAG is not designed to create teams from different age groups it is in place to make sure that young players are grouped with players of equal ability in terms of their physicality, understanding of the game (i.e. new to the game) emotional and educational needs
